The process of removing waste products and excess fluid from the body is called dialysis. Dialysis is necessary when the kidneys are not able to adequately filter the blood. This novel therapy gives patients with kidney failure an opportunity to live productive lives. There are two types of dialysis: hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Patients can usually choose the type of long term dialysis that best matches their needs.

In-Center Dialysis

Our advanced, on-premises Dialysis Center blends philosophy, humanity and technology in a serene environment, guiding our patients toward a physical, mental and spiritual renewal. KidneySPA hosts 24 dialysis stations with self-monitor, integrated Wi-Fi, DVD player and 40 channels of cable TV. At the in-center dialysis program you may expect the following services:

  • Weekly doctor’s visit
  • Bimonthly lab work
  • Monthly dietitian & social worker evaluation
  • Early transplant referral

At-Home Dialysis (Peritoneal)

Peritoneal dialysis is the modality of choice for those patients that want to keep their independence. Patients are trained at our premises and certified to perform their dialysis treatment at home. At KidneySPA you will find the following home dialysis services:

  • Peritoneal dialysis on-site training
  • 24/7 support provided by a specialized dialysis nurse
  • Monthly nephrology evaluation
