Dr. J. Mauricio Cuellar, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist in Miami and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He received his medical training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the University of Miami and University of Texas Southwestern.

An active Board Member of the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, he has served as the primary investigator on numerous dialysis-related studies. In addition to his role as nephrologist and Inspired by the love of his work and the wellbeing of his patients, he founded KidneySPA Dialysis Centers in 2009 with a revolutionary vision for the care of patients with renal disease. He also speaks multiple languages, including Spanish and German.
